The Oath of Office

I am compelled to write my substack, even as President Trump accepts the enormous responsibility of the Presidency.

His speech and pronouncements must be taken at face value. Conspiracy advocates must be silenced, regardless of the guarantees of freedom of speech. The still vocal protests of opponents of a well-engineered transition of power do not warrant an audience.

The frequent boos by some of the attendees were a disgrace during the solemnity of the inauguration. Our constitution guarantees a peaceful transition of power. This sacred document stopped imperial power and monarchy. A then small and what appeared to be significant would overthrow tyrannical power.

Our Constitution stipulates the oneness of our democracy, outlining the basics of our democracy, yet outlining a process for change. Our founding fathers were prescient to see unknown changes in America with time, not even knowing what was to come.

Trump’s vision for the United States

Donald Trump has outlined a comprehensive agenda for his second administration, focusing on a range of issues from immigration to economic policies. Here are some key proposals:

Immigration

Mass Deportation Program: Trump aims to create the largest mass deportation program in U.S. history, utilizing the National Guard and local police forces to enforce immigration laws [3].

End Birthright Citizenship: He proposes to end the recognition of automatic birthright citizenship for children born to undocumented immigrants, which would likely require a constitutional amendment [2][3].
