President Trump fires chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and two other military officers
TRUMP fired Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
The Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Charles Q. Brown Jr., Chief of Naval Operations Lisa Franchetti fired
In another executive order, President Trump fired two superb officers because they would not eliminate DEI from their criteria for enrolling in the armed services.
This action is another example of Trump’s cognitive dissonance. In a time of difficulty recruiting adequate numbers for our voluntary fighting warriors, this flies in the face of common sense.
The criterion for recruitment eligibility has standards that are tested for physical fitness, and academic testing which would override any DEI hires. DEI does not affect these standards.
President Donald Trump abruptly fired Air Force Gen. CQ Brown Jr. as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on Friday, sidelining a history-making fighter pilot and respected officer as part of a campaign led by his defense secretary to rid the military of leaders who support diversity and equity in the ranks.
Gen. Brown has commanded a fighter squadron, the U.S. Air Force Weapons School, two fighter wings, and twice served as a Combined/Joint Air Component Commander with command tours at U.S. Air Forces Central Command and Pacific Air Forces.
The last thing on his resume is he was ‘fired’. Trump enjoys that term dating back to his ‘Apprentice’ show. This was not a way an American patriot should be remembered.
Another stain on Donald J Trump.
